First off, 1999 is not an exact timestamp for this material & will be the case for many instances throughout the years...
it IS, however, pretty close to accurate & there aren't too many cases of this.

I attended highschool between the years 1998 & 2002. Starting at the end of middle school and into about my sophomore and junior years I made HUNDREDS of songs on countless mixtapes using a YAMAHA PSR-22 & my voice & total goofball attitude.

Most of this music is lost to time & tapes being broken or lost or thrown away(!)... I sincerely regret not having any copies of this music... I'm sure there'd be a whole goldmine of material to laugh at and draw inspiration from!

Many instances in these old recordings I would have my sister sing with me... Most of the time she didn't mind and we had tons of fun but sometimes she'd be real annoyed (as would anyone : ) Last thing I'd probably mention about this stuff is that about 90% was always improvised... Not only is this impressive imo, but it is even deeper and more personal as to who I was/am and is sort-of like a stream of consciousness.
