So, 2008 & 2009 are pretty closely related so I am putting a description for both of those years here... and, also, especially since there isn't going to be a folder named after the year 2009... This will be the case all the way up until the year 2014!

**QUICK NOTE** The reason these folders are titled after years in the first place is because none of this music was designed for any purpose... this is literally me just sitting down in front of my machines and free-associating.

'08 & '09 are rebirth years for me... After getting my heart broken at the beginning of 2006, I feel like I lost my way... I felt like I had everything I ever wanted and then it was gone... I don't need to explain heartbreak right?

2 main projects were started that I called "Soulbot" & "Arcade." Soulbot was a means to explore my expertise with the sampling skills I had garnered through the years... Arcade was a means to continue my explorations with electronic music creation. Both projects were based in electronic music production but were separated in order to create focus. Together they actually make quite the epic album... the "Soulbot Arcade."

Most of 2008 & 2009 I was actually preparing myself for the future (i didn't know this at the time)... 2010 would pretty much be a finale and marriage of these 2 years.

You might have noticed an album I released under the guise of Dj GuT entitled "Cartoons Vol. 2." This is an experimental album using samples from very old cartoons and my sharpened skills at the helm of my machines... I titled this under the name Dj GuT in order to get in that mindset... to escape and bring you something strait outta left field. All of these songs are actually in chronological order and were purposefully titled with that in mind.

***ANOTHER QUICK FUN NOTE*** Almost everything you hear here on Bandcamp is in chronological order... with the exception of some specialized mixes... I feel like this ordering is the most interesting and exciting, however, it is DEFINITELY fun to throw that random button on once in a while ; )

My project with my friend Dean, Road Debris, saw it's last album in 2008... we had one last major jam towards the beginning of '09 I entitled "The Rm 2 Mysterious."

One last attempt at a collab with Brazil 5K occurred at the beginning of 2009 I titled "Hot Pop" after the boutique we were supposed to perform the music at...

***FINAL THOUGHT*** I love these 2 years... For the longest time I loathed listening to this stuff but I have a pretty nice appreciation for it now and respect & recognize the effort I put into it.
